As a many of you may know, new screennames have been poping up with @mac at the end, and in the form of a clickable link with a mailto: embedded in it. This is because AOL has given Apple permission to let mac users use a program called iChat. Anyone with an @mac email address can sign on AIM using it, like this 'Nemisis@mac.com' as the screenname login, and then your email password. You can have things in your screenname, like...HostNemisis@mac.com or GuideNemisis@mac.com etc etc etc. At this point you can only join chatrooms that have 4.8+ users in them, and you cannot communicate with AIM4.7-. Only @mac screennames and 4.8+, so you cant join the room OP or the room ROOM. I belive as well as does DarkKnight (Anti-AOL) that this iChat program will open up AIM to many a new exploit, and i'm looking forward to it. As it is now, only someone with a mac can register an @mac address, so you goto find someone with a mac if you want one.
You can also format your @mac name in the signon window of AIM.
