Buddy Kill

AIM Suite's Buddykill still works on AIM 4.7 and the first beta of 4.8 (24.64 or something)

Buddy Kill was a kill that was only possible through a local proxy, like AIM Suite, and AIM Filter. It worked like this, you enter who you wanted to kill, and Suite or Filter would send a huge buddylist to the target. This would lock up any version of AIM with buddylist send/get features. It was not fixed on the client side until 4.8.26.46, but it was fixed on the server side before that. I'm pretty sure it locked AIM up because it was such a large file, and it was trying to proccess it. I never let it sit for very long while testing, and it is probable that it would recover eventuly. Eventualy being the keyword. It was discovered by two diffrent people around the same time, robbie saunders, and myself (Nemisis). robbie takes full credit for it, but, I don't care about shit like that, so i'm not going to argue. If you ask me, we both discovered it, so we both should get full credit. Robbie didn't block all Buddy Kill's when he made the blocks for AIM Filter, because he didn't think anyone would discover it, (i blocked all in suite) but, when I told him, he fixed it.
