Floodnet was originaly made for IRC, a bunch of EGGDROP Bots, and sometimes users, would log into a floodnet and they would send and recive flood commands. (eg. if you were the target of these attacks, they would all ping you, or message you, etc etc)

Floodnet is a great idea, because mass amounts of data being sent to a client, will usualy result in the client being overloaded and a loss of connection will occur. The idea is basicly, what one cannot do, many can.

My Global floodnet, works like this:
You run the client and enter an AIM SN and Password, then Floodnet connects you to AIM
using a modified dSp AIM Client. When floodnet succsessfuly connects to AIM, the client connects to the floodnet server
The floodnet window is very much like an IRC chat window, commands are issued using the '/' identifier

To Login to Floodnet:
#1 You need to enter a valid screenname and password, if it does not appear to be doing anything, after a minute or so (or how ever long it usualy takes you to login to AIM) then close it and reopen it!
#2 It will NOT ALLOW you access to Floodnet, until after you are logged into AIM via Floodnet, when you hit continue, it starts to log u in, it's all done in the backround.

Nemisis Floodnet allows you to connect up to 150 bots to AIM, once the first bot as logged in you are automaticly logged into the floodnet server, and can send floods. You also take part in floods, but that happens in the backround and you never even see it. If you log in with more then 10 clones, once the 11th has succsefuly logged in you can Protect the screenname of your choice. Protection stops floods from taking place AGAINST that screenname.

If you are getting an error about tocSock being outdated, then delete all the other tocsocks on your computer, this may fix the problem.
